A gentle boy 04:40
A gentle boy She was twenty-five years old, The grace of a queen, The sinless of kids. She did not fear the beasts. "Rose marry me", Said a gentle boy and she, She did believe his promises. But Rose couldn't be, A man's property. She loved so muched to live, She loved so much to give. So one day, she tasted another kiss. She died by the husband's fists. "It was so obscene, She betrayed me. So I lost my mind, and killed." The judge decided, It was a love tragedy. So the gentle boy was found barely guilty. And Rose run down as a bitch. So she came back from the Purgatory. She followed them, Haunted them, The men, who've tarnished her good name. 'till they feel Rose's fists, Creeping along their bad memories, Choking their screams with rage and fury. Giving them peace.

Our lives 02:39
Our lives If you feel sad tonight, If you're wondering why, Come to my arms. Don't be shy Cos' we're all gonna die, Stay with me tonight. Who knows where tomorrow will send our lives, So spent with me the night. What's the meaning of life, We make it better and kind, If you dare, if you can. Life can bring you down, One day we maybe will die, But for now, we're alive. Who knows where tomorrow will send our lives, In the air or in the ground So spent with me the night.

The day we met The day we met I was badly upset I've just broken with Suzy A good-looking waitress. My heart aches, My pride's dead, Like a burnt land. I wander my lost soul Through the world again. But this flower dress, Like print on your skin, Like a call to a sin, Like a fire ring. A sign, a word, a move, Hope you'll recognize me, Like the one that you need. The one who gives you the thrills. The day we met, A bit lost in my head. I went out with my friends But the smile was a fake. Yeah we laugh with my kin But my mood's getting bad. Tired of others until I saw you out there. Come, get me out of town Let me breath your skin Let's get high, take me Sure that you will A sign, a word, a move, Hope you'll recognize me Like the one that you need. The one who gives you the thrills.

Oklahoma 04:32
Oklahoma In nineteen twenty-six, my father started to build. A farm and a house, a nest for his whole family. In Oklahoma, hope and promise, Of gold, of good harvest at least, Oklahoma, it sounds like a wish, The brown prairies turn to gold in his dreams. Firts year was tough, The weed crop grew up, And soon, dust clouds appeared. Don't worry baby, he said to his wife, My mom', named Emily. She said. "But the sand is so abrasif" And he always answered "Be sure, it will be better next year. But pray to the Lord, if you will. I've a meeting at the bank of Boise City." More production but it was never enough. So farmers decided to leave. Indeed The prices were falling and the kids were suffocating. Yet there were no more trees, When the storm took away Emily. We learned slowly, didn't we. Even after having defied gravity. We learned slowly, didn't we. Even after having defied gravity.

Laureen 03:35
Laureen She was talking a lot. "My name is Laureen and I like the way you smile". Please to meet you, but wait and see. This song could be for you Laureen. The easy girl with a blue dress on. She told me her life with a hand on my arm. How she felt and how she bounced back. Her name is Laureen and I like the way she smile. Another tear in a smile. But so much hope to come into these eyes. It was a long time coming but now I see. I'm singing for you Laureen. It was a long time coming but now I see. I'm singing for you Laureen.

White trash 03:30
White trash The shops are closed. The mine is gone from town. New gun-stores are growing all around, As fast as the grass on the parking-line. In my mind men were buying a ring. In my mind, the streets full of sounds, of kids, Enjoying their games, These were your kin. They called you white-trash, When you fill your bag, With cans from the ground for a few cents. Not quite white. You drink too much, When you return to the trailer-park. A lame woman is walking past me. Her shopping-bags like a burden, so heavy. Who cares for her while watching TV. They called you white-trash, When you fill your bag, With cans from the ground for a few cents. At least too fat, not quite white, And you return to the trailer-park.
